Any international move requires thorough planning and execution of multiple tasks – and unless you are completely allergic to planning, I suggest using some task management software to keep track of tasks. I decided to use Asana, as it has features I need and even paid version is quite inexpensive. There are multiple similar solutions, try them out and pick the one that works for you best.
Just to share the level of effort required, I had over 200 tasks in my list, and that only covered move preparation and initial setup in Georgia. I think it will easily be another 100 for the first few months that are move related. It is unlikely to keep this kind of list move in your head, unless you are a reincarnation of Julius Caesar – so use the software, Luke (or something like that).
My recommendation:
Use take management software that you like, it is next to impossible to keep everything move related in your head.
